BUILT TO FEEL AT HOME.

01 / A PLACE FOR EVERYTHING

Many accounts.
A little more calm.

Your conversations already have a home.
Now your accounts do too.

01

A face. Not another tab.

Your accounts live in a quiet rail on the right. Profile photos when available, your own images when you prefer. One click and you're in the right conversation.

02

Keep your worlds separate.

Each account has its own persistent session. No signing out to sign back in. Accounts load when you first open them.

03

Make yourself at home. Again.

Export your workspace with a passphrase. Restore names and photos on another computer, then link your accounts again with your phone.

02 / YOUR NEXT FIVE MINUTES

Less setup.
More hello.

No new waaaapp account. No subscription.
Just your WhatsApp accounts, together.

A FEW THINGS WORTH KNOWING

Before you
say hello.

Is this an official WhatsApp app?+

No. waaaapp is an independent desktop workspace by Chris Ochieng. It displays WhatsApp Web in separate sessions and is not affiliated with WhatsApp or Meta.

Can I move everything to another computer?+

You can move account names and photos using an encrypted workspace backup. Login sessions and messages are not included. On the new computer, scan a QR code for each account. Your conversations are handled by WhatsApp.

Can I make and answer calls?+

WhatsApp Web supports calls. waaaapp asks to set up camera and microphone access on first launch. If a device is blocked, open workspace settings, retry setup, and check your operating system permissions. Feature availability is controlled by WhatsApp.

How do updates work?+

Windows installers and Linux AppImages check for updates and download them in the background. Restart when ready, or install on normal exit. Unsigned Mac builds check for new releases but require manual installation or a Homebrew upgrade. Older releases need a one-time manual upgrade.

Will every account receive notifications?+

An account connects when you first select it. Opened accounts remain connected while waaaapp runs, including in the background. Unopened accounts and accounts in a closed app do not receive notifications.

Where does my data live?+

Account sessions stay on your computer. Messages are handled by WhatsApp Web. waaaapp has no hosted message service, and this website uses no analytics or tracking cookies. Workspace backups are encrypted with your passphrase.
